Greetings fellow Christians!
This week we will be continuing our adult Bible Study program. Sundays @8:30 AM and Tuesday @9:00 AM. The Tuesday meeting will be available on Zoom. If you are interested in joining on Zoom and are not on our mailing list, please call Melanie or Pastor Carol.
I will be using Adam Hamilton's When Christians Get It Wrong (Politics, Judgement, Salvation, Sexuality, Tragedy, and Science). Hamilton is senior pastor of The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. I have used several of his studies before and I find them to be easy to follow and very applicable to real life.
Here is what is said about this study: Following Jesus can be more about open doors than locked fences, more about serving people than judging them, more about joyful living than angry fighting. We may not all agree on several issues but Adam H. will help you to come away refreshed, enlightened, and determined to "get it right" because sometimes we get it wrong, and the only way to get it right is the way of humility, confession, compassion, and renewed commitment to a deeper integrity.
Copies of his participant's guide are $10.
Thanks!
Alternately, you either use a search for "You Tube New Cov Events" or simply subscribe to our You Tube Channel to be automatically alerted any time we 'go live'.
The bulletin for Sunday and the YouTube recording of our live services can be found here.
I always appreciate receiving updates on any pastoral concerns so that I may address the needs.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
May God bless and keep you safe.
Blessings,
Carol
