In order to keep everyone safe during services, we are going to be doing things a bit differently, which require some explanation and clarification.
If you are feeling sick and / or believe that you have been exposed to Covid 19, please stay home and enjoy the service using our Zoom-based live-streaming service.
All persons entering the sanctuary must wear masks and maintain safe distancing when entering / leaving the church.
Everyone will be required to sanitize their hands at the front door before entering the vestibule. NCPC will provide the sanitizer.
Once you enter the church, please pass immediately through the vestibule to be guided to a seat. Do not congregate in the vestibule.
Name tags are not going to be used. They have been put away for the duration of the pandemic.
Safe social distancing is going to be provided inside the sanctuary. Families that wish to sit together as a group may do so.
We are not going to be singing during the service. The choir will have pre-recorded hymns and special music.
There will be no printed bulletins. We will be working from the projector and prepared slides.
All hymnals and Bibles have been removed and placed on shelves. Please feel free to bring your own Bible with you.
There will be no food or drink offered inside the sanctuary. Beverages outside the sanctuary may be available.
We will not be using the hand held microphones during the service. If you have a praise or prayer concern, you will need to speak up so that you can be heard. Our Pastor will act as as 'repeater'..but everyone needs to ensure that you can be heard.
If you do not want your prayer concern to be broadcast over the internet, please clearly state your wish.
Anything that anyone says into a microphone will be streamed and recorded and become public.
The service is going to be live-streamed using a camera mounted directly behind the projector. Please be aware that live streamed is just that - anyone out on the internet will see and hear all the goes on during the service.
If you are uncomfortable with this concept (of possibly being seen on the internet), please stay behind the camera.
In order for the camera to see the projected slides, we have intentionally darkened the church by covering windows and closing drapes.
The camera can be clearly seen above the projector and will not be panned around the congregation during the service. Hence if you sit behind the camera, you will not be seen.
Please note that any person in the congregation during a live-streamed service is implicitly giving the church permission to use their image and / or voice as part of the service and broadcast it over the internet.
At the end of the service, congregants will be ushered outside where there will be chairs available for people sit and talk.
